Debra has been in the financial industry for over 40 years and is an integral person of our day-to-day operations coordinating and streamlining for efficiency. She began her professional career in banking in 1978 starting full-time in the bookkeeping department at the State Bank of Slinger. While attending college in the evenings and weekends she worked as a customer service rep, then began supervising branch offices and moved into operations. She became the Operations Officer managing a center with over 150 people that supported 35 branch locations in southern WI overseeing deposit operations and research, proof operations, loan operations, IT operations, purchasing and record retention. While in her banking career, she coordinated several merges of multiple bank operation centers while acquiring college degrees in Accounting and Business Administration with a minor in Economics. During her banking career she acquired several banking certifications from the American Institute of Banking, was a certified trainer for Stephen R. Covey courses and conducted monthly meetings with Branch Managers and Loan Officers with focus on compliance and customer service.

In 1998, Debra transitioned from the banking industry to the investment industry. She has serviced both individual clients as well as businesses helping them develop their retirement plan. She continues to maintain her licenses and refer clients to advisers in our firm. Debra accepted the position of Chief Operations Officer in 2014 and registers our Investment Adviser Representatives with the SEC. On the personal side, she serves on various committees at church and volunteered for over 15 years on the local fire department’s Auxiliary. She enjoys reading, health fitness, singing, bicycling, hiking, boating, slalom waterskiing, fishing, hunting, is a blood donor, and enjoys music concerts, the theater and most of all spending time with family and friends.
